Incorporations

Incorporation Summary

Incorporation is permitted/governed under the Chiropractic Act Sections 74-88 and Chiropractic Regulations Sections 14-33. The Board has developed two sets of documents to assist in this process:

Application process

  • The incorporation must request permission for use of name under the Chiropractic Regulations Section 26.
  • The incorporation application will consist of:
    • The completed Chiropractic Incorporation Application Form signed and notarized.
    • A cheque for $200 payable to the NSCC.
    • A copy of the Joint Stock and Trade Forms.
    • A copy of the Memorandum of Association.
  • Once all of the materials have been submitted, the application will be reviewed for completeness

Renewal process

  • Every chiropractic incorporation will need to be renewed within 30-90 days of the end of the calendar year (between Oct 1 - Dec 1).
  • The completed set of renewal documents include:
    • The completed and signed renewal form including the corporate seal.
    • A cheque for $100 payable to the NSCC.
    • Once all of the materials have been submitted, check to see if there have been any changes to the incorporation in the past year.
  • Once all of the materials have been submitted, the application will be reviewed for completeness
