Continuing Education

Every practicing chiropractor must complete a minimum of 24 hours of Board approved Continuing Education in every two-year period. All 24 hours may come from Distance Learning. Of the twenty-four (24) hours of approved continued education needed every two (2) years, a maximum of twelve (12) hours can be from Category "B" courses.

Please obtain a list of pre-approved seminars or contact the Continuing Education Approval Committee prior to attending a seminar to determine if the course will be accepted for continuing education hours. For information, contact the Chair of the CE Approval Committee.

The PACE program is an initiative of the FCLB - Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards, which pre-approves CE courses. In Nova Scotia, we have agreed to accept PACE approved courses. To learn more about the PACE program, click here.
